- Investigated the [list of pkgs](https://kashyapc.fedorapeople.org/risc-v/rebuilds-f43/pkgs-to-rebuild-debuginfo.txt) to rebuild once the 'binutils' bug is fixed.
- More digging into Olmo family of AI models. Filed a [ticket](https://forge.fedoraproject.org/ai-ml/.profile/issues/24) to create a Fedora "Olmo" playground.
- Meetings.

2025-12-18 11:13:00
- Discussed a bit more about the 'binutils' [upstream bug](https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33723#c3) that's blocking. It's slow-going due to the complexity of the bug and the reproducer takes time to generate.
- Filed an [issue](https://forge.fedoraproject.org/riscv/planning/issues/5) to (eventually) re-enable debuginfo package creation for 'qt6-qtshadertools'. It's more of a to-do for self.
- Continued to [evaluate Olmo3](https://playground.allenai.org/thread/msg_I9H8R7Q5D6). I asked it about changes for LLVM and GCC to be ready for the next ISA spec. All the sources are publinc of this. It got several things wrong. But it's a start, for such a "fully transparent model". Also discussed with Gordon about a potential "Fedora Olmo3 playground" for the community.

2025-12-17 12:43:00
- More debugging with Nick Clift and David on the debuginfo corruption bug. Filed an upstream ['binutils' bug](https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33723) on sourceware.org
- Several meetings (RISC-V RHT-internal call, CLE team meeting, Fedora QA).

2025-12-16 11:16:00
- Investigated a potential 'binutils' [issue](https://forge.fedoraproject.org/riscv/planning/issues/1#issuecomment-258411) with a maintainer. This is blocking F43 RISC-V images.
- Preperatory meeting about Community Initiative for RISC-V.
- Email with RH legal on copyright and related topics in the context of AI.

- some discussion on [my ai-code-review forgejo PR](https://gitlab.com/redhat/edge/ci-cd/ai-code-review/-/merge_requests/45) (mainly about a separate bug in the tool causing its review of my PR to be bad, rather than the PR itself...)
