- Started refactoring Fedora Easy karma with Claude - received relatively positive results with Claude and got the code refactored. Tthe application still works after the process and the code looks better than before. Reviewing and testing will be needed.
- Started to write a blog post about booting up systems manually with GRUB cli for mojefedora.cz (I am especially proud of the title - "Vykopej si svůj vlastní grub" which is a pun for "Dig your own grave").

2025-12-08 12:32:00
- Finished the Basic Networking for CLI, Gnome and KDE (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_Basic_networking).
- Sent an email to test list requesting a review for the test case above.

2025-12-05 10:24:00
- Completed Ethics and Compliance training.
- Discussed various possibilities for future improvements with Kamil and Petr.
- Tested all informations in the Basic Networking test for manual and Gnome settings - it worked well.

2025-12-04 12:24:00
- Set up RAG instructions to enhance test case writing using an LLM.
- Performed a couple of tests trying to generate some test cases based on the release validation criteria with mixed results.
- Started to work on the Basic Networking test case and get some of it done (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_Basic_networking) but realized that it is more complicated than I would have expected.

2025-12-03 09:44:00
- Took part in Fedora FreeIPA test day.
- Attended team meetings.

2025-12-02 10:37:00
- Partly migrated the Fedora Easy Karma repository, using the Forgejo migration script and checked that all opened issues and PRs have transferred.
- Discussed the rest of the migration process with Kamil who suggested to leave certain tasks to his automation to test that it is working correctly.
- Reviewed the prepared test day documents (Petr) and provided some suggestions.

- Reviewed a 'mock' [MR](https://github.com/rpm-software-management/mock/pull/1662) for RISC-V chroots, and discussed potential blockers on Matrix.
- Did an initial audit of Fedora's 24K RPM specs for `ExcludeArch` and `ExclusiveArch` for riscv64. Filed a [ticket](https://forge.fedoraproject.org/riscv/planning/issues/3) for further investigation.
- Wrote a detailed reply on the "Community Initiatives" thread to Brendan and others.
- Finalized schedule for FOSDEM RISC-V and virt devrooms. Some people used AI to submit garbage abstracts!

Fixed the OpenJDK 25 fork error, submitted a [new PR](http://fedora.riscv.rocks:3000/kashyapc/java-latest-openjdk/commits/branch/f43-25-riscv64-v2), and a build that [succeded](https://riscv-koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=58222).

- Reviewed about 50 submissions for FOSDEM 'virt/infra' and RISC-V devrooms. (We got the highest number of submissions to the virt devroom since I started helping out with this some 7 years ago.)

2025-12-05 10:41:00
- I forked OpenJDK 25 RISC-V from a wrong upstream (Fedora) commit, hence my build [failed](https://riscv-koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=58156). Debugged this with David to undo this mess. The OpenJDK versioning is hell.
- Filed a Fedora forge [issue](https://forge.fedoraproject.org/riscv/planning/issues/2) to track LLVM test suite failures.
- Worked with an LLVM maintainer to got some movement on my [upstream bug](https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/issues/162655) of a test suite crash.
- Some more reviews of FOSDEM abstracts.
- A couple of meetings.

2025-12-04 10:24:00

- Reviewed about 15 submissions for the virt devroom and about 20 submissions to the RISC-V devroom at FOSDEM. This is time-sensitive as notifications need to be sent out.
- A couple of Red Hat-internal meetings.

2025-12-03 11:41:00
- Started initial email discussion on a Fedora "commuinity initiative" for RISC-V with a few folks from the Fedora Council.
- Followed up with the Copr team about RISC-V chroots.
- Started reviewing FOSDEM RISC-V devroom submissions.
- Several meetings in the afternoon that left my brains fried.

2025-12-02 11:30:00
- [Backported](http://fedora.riscv.rocks:3000/kashyapc/java-latest-openjdk/commits/branch/f43-24-riscv64) RISC-V patches for OpenJDK 24 and [built](https://riscv-koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=57908) it in RISC-V Koji. This took bulk of my time.
- Discussed the status of 'debugedit' and DWARF errors that are affecting some builds. There are several leads but no strong conclusion yet.
