- [Rebased](http://fedora.riscv.rocks:3000/kashyapc/qt5-qtwebengine/commit/e125808055b44) 'qt5-qtwebengine' to F43 release.
- Fixed a rebase workflow issue in 'qt5-qtwebengine' - instead of rebase + force push, reworked it to do a [merge commit]( http://fedora.riscv.rocks:3000/rpms/qt5-qtwebengine/commit/894de109652e).
- We're still hitting the 'debugedit' [issue](https://kashyapc.fedorapeople.org/risc-v/rebuilds-f43/debugedit-issue/debugedit-error-qttools.txt) that's affecting several Fedora packages. Need to work with upstream to figure out a path forward.
- Started a discussion with the Copr team (Miroslav Suchý) and a few Fedora RISC-V SIG folks about RISC-V 'chroots':
- Read up on "Community Initiatives" in Fedora. I was told we may have to initiate one for RISC-V.
- Did some pending Concur admin work.

2025-11-14 10:51:00
- Rebased 'uv' (a Python package manager in Rust) on F43, backport two RISC-V patches from David, resolve the annoying cherry-pick conflicts and [merge them](http://fedora.riscv.rocks:3000/rpms/uv/commits/branch/f43-riscv64) to the secondary RISC-V 'dist-git'.
- Investigated a build failure for 'uv' due to kernel OOM on a less powerful machine (StarFive VF2); fixed it and submitted a [build](https://riscv-koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=87600).
- Wrote some local scripts to automate some drudgery when re-building Fedora for RISC-V.
- Started tinkering with the [Fedora RISC-V Forgejo](https://forge.fedoraproject.org/org/riscv/teams) instance.
- Respond to a hardware vendor about how Fedora builds RISC-V.

2025-11-13 12:49:00
- Did some initial investigation of a ['debugedit' error](https://kashyapc.fedorapeople.org/risc-v/rebuilds-f43/debugedit-issue/debugedit-error-qttools.txt). About 1% of Fedora RISC-V packages are affected by this, but we have a workaround.
- Prepared and merged [a patch](http://fedora.riscv.rocks:3000/rpms/qt5-qttools/src/branch/f43-riscv64) to disable the 'debuginfo' package generation. And submitted a [build](https://riscv-koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=79271).
- Followed up on the status of a [RISC-V Forgejo](https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/12409) instance with the Forgejo folks.
- Started rebasing the Rust 'uv' package from RISC-V dist-git onto F43.
- Caught up pending work stuff from Tuesday's public holiday.

2025-11-12 10:09:00
- Kicked off Qt5 major version rebuilds for RISC-V F43.
- Completed writing RISC-V Summit trip report; sent it to relevant internal mailing lists. I spent more time than I care to admit writing it. (I need to make time for a community edition.)

2025-11-17 17:05:00
- [reverted](https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-412e51ae6a) less change that broke atomic desktop image builds in rawhide
- sent [yet another fix](https://pagure.io/fedora-kickstarts/pull-request/1098) for the robotics lab
- dropped a couple of obsolete workarounds from openQA tests: [1](https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/os-autoinst-distri-fedora/c/398afd67695c6ec32243b1dee0f6f3c04b6e7a80?branch=main), [2](https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/os-autoinst-distri-fedora/c/52b41930abd44b1f079cce355b576dd27217a957?branch=main)
- poked at USB install testing in openQA some more, managed to [get it working with qmp](https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/os-autoinst-distri-fedora/pull-request/451#comment-225887) with an [upstream change](https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst/pull/2772)

2025-11-14 16:42:00
- got lsandoval (grub2 maintainer) data to debug the boot fail bug we were hitting, verified the fix, did a couple more rebuilds and finally got [the update](https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-fb66eccf2c) to stable
- sent some little comps fixes - [dropping an uninstallable package](https://pagure.io/fedora-comps/pull-request/1195), [a fix for the check-missing script](https://pagure.io/fedora-comps/pull-request/1196), and [removing some retired packages](https://pagure.io/fedora-comps/pull-request/1197)
- poked at lruzicka's [USB boot test PR](https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/os-autoinst-distri-fedora/pull-request/451) a bit, I don't love the manual boot stuff so tried to find a working alternative, my first effort doesn't work on BIOS so trying to find another now
- looked into silverblue ostree build failures in openQA, turns out to be because of a [questionable change in the less package](https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2308285#c3)

2025-11-13 17:26:00
- did more builds and edits on [the big kde/ffmpeg update](https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-2a86d059f0) to finally get it stable
- had to rebuild gvfs in https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-fb66eccf2c and gstreamer1-plugin-libav after the update went stable to keep everything in line. multiple multi-package updates with overlapping package subsets is a tricky case
- reported broken deps in [a gtest update](https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-030b7b9abf#comment-4424464)
- did some follow-up testing on grub2 issues in [the fuse3 soname bump update](https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-fb66eccf2c#comment-4424457)
- also did some follow-up testing on [user add failures in a shadow-utils update](https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-3d835cfb15#comment-4424248), it's proving tricky to reproduce outside of openQA for some reason
- looked into CI failures in multiple updates: [tcl/tk](https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-52da17a64d#comment-4424463), [bootc](https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-c3ef769947#comment-4424289), [some go thing](https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-5ca5762242#comment-4424284), [postfix](https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-8a1c49c08f#comment-4424281), [nodejs24](https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-fc076bdd47#comment-4424277) - this is a typical 'hard to plan' thing, the flow was, after getting the kde/ffmpeg update stable I was trying to find any pending updates which had any of the same packages, so I wound up looking through *all* Rawhide updates that were stuck in updates-testing, and figured I might as well work out *why* they were stuck as I was going along
- committed openQA needles I added earlier this week
- sent a couple of quick fixes for failed image builds in latest Rawhide - [rebuitl skyviewer for a dep change](https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-e4f6ac0be8) to fix astronomy lab, [dropped a non-installable package from comps](https://pagure.io/fedora-comps/pull-request/1193) to fix robotics lab

* Started documenting migration workflows and known deficiencies in our QA tracker
	https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/issue/836
* Reported "Pagure migration: Project URL doesn't get migrated"
	https://forge.fedoraproject.org/forge/forge/issues/279
* Found documentation issues for email configuration for Forge, noted. Also questioned whether disabling email by default is a good choice.
